Closing

Vessels maintain a closing date (and time) for your bookings. There is a document closing, a deadline by which time documents need to be in order, and a container closing, which is the deadline for delivering to container to the terminal. Failure to meet the closings will usually result in your cargo not being loaded on the desired vessel.
