The entire route
Transport by road is a quicker and more reliable way of transporting goods across short distances. Additionally, road transport often forms the first and/or last leg of the international shipping route. We load your goods at the location of choice and unload them, after their arrival overseas, at their final destination. If you use our services for your (international) shipments, you will only have to deal with one party for the entire journey, which makes things considerably easier for you.
For every region and kinds of goods there are many different specifications concerning road transport (ADR, refrigerated goods, et cetera) Due to our profound knowledge and experience, we know who to contact when, taking into account your wishes and this, obviously, against our most favourable rates.
Reliable, fast and safe
Shipments that need to go from A to B within Belgium or Europe are usually transported by road. Embassy Freight Services Europe N.V. is your partner for this modality as well. Over the years, we have built an extensive network that allows us to service the Benelux within 24 hours and the rest of Europe within 48 to 72 hours. This goes for containers, individual items, entire trucks, non-hazardous and ADR goods.
New CMR conditions
The CMR document is required for road transport. CMR stands for ‘Convention Relative au Contrat de Transport International de Marchandises par la Route’. In other words: an international agreement that contains the rights and obligations of parties involved in road transport: the shipper, carrier and addressee.
On the backside of this CMR document there are now new conditions mentioned concerning:
- delivery in case of absence of the consignee
- invoicing, payment and retention
- court of jurisdiction
