South Africa’s economy
The South African economy is by far the largest in Africa. Many industries are well developed, particularly communications, transport and energy. Also notable are the legal and financial sectors. The stock exchange in Johannesburg even belongs to the top ten in the world. Still, South Africa is a developing country. This is due to the low income of a large section of the population.
